(Sharecast News) - Security firm Westminster Group said on Wednesday that it has been selected to provide a range of security services to "a major international services organisation, under individual contract awards.
Westminster said its new customer provides services to governmental clients in over 90 countries across the globe and has secured several contracts with a combined value of over $1.2m, including a contract to provide comprehensive security concierge services on an annual basis across a number of prominent sites in the United Kingdom starting at roughly £650,000 per year over the first twelve months.
The AIM-listed group also stated its was in discussions regarding security solutions for some of the customer's sites elsewhere in the world, which it hopes will result in additional contracts.
Chief executive Peter Fowler said: "I am delighted to be able to announce contract services for this important new global client and we anticipate, with our global reach, we will be able to assist them with equipment and services at their many other locations around the world.
"These contracts mark a strategic expansion of Westminster Group's recurring revenue, service portfolio and underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused security and support solutions."
As of 1130 BST, Westminster shares were up 0.87% at 2.32p.
