Wednesday preview: Wetherspoon and Experian release interim results

Wetherspoon unveils its interim management statement Wednesday after the UK pub operator announced plans to open new bars. Last month the company said it was adding 30 new pubs and creating 1,200 jobs this year, according to reports.As part of the expansion, it is investing more than £35m in areas including Selby and Whitby, which could impact today's results. The company may follow in the footsteps of Green King, which reported record Christmas Day takings at its pubs and restaurants in the UK as consumers indulged over the silly season.Another financial statement set to make headlines is results from Experian.The financial investor and shareholder resources group recently launched an online reporting tool to help small and medium enterprises manage their company risk profile.
