(Sharecast News) - STV Group announced on Wednesday that its STV Studios division has secured three recommissions from BBC Daytime.

The London-listed company said BBC Daytime had greenlit new series of popular antiques programmes Antiques Road Trip, Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, and The Travelling Auctioneers, encompassing a total of 56 episodes.

It said Antiques Road Trip, a fixture of afternoon programming since its inception in 2010, would return for its 29th series on BBC One with 20 episodes of 45 minutes each.

Its sister show Celebrity Antiques Road Trip would meanwhile embark on its 13th series, airing in primetime on BBC Two, comprising 16 episodes of 45 minutes each.

Production had already started on the third series of The Travelling Auctioneers, consisting of 20 episodes.

Launched in 2022, the show follows auctioneering experts collaborating with restoration masters to unearth forgotten treasures in family homes.

The Travelling Auctioneers won Best Daytime Show at the RTS Scotland Programme Awards 2023.

"I'm delighted with the ongoing success of these returning STV Studios formats," said the company's creative director of factual programming, Craig Hunter.

"This order is a testament to the BBC's commitment to the Nations and I couldn't be prouder of the hard-working teams that continue to deliver a fresh twist on these much-loved brands."

At 1103 BST, shares in STV Group were up 1.78% at 249.35p.
