Segro's chief executive Ian Coull is leaving the real estate giant after almost eight years to become chairman of housebuilder Galliford Try.Coull, who's said he'll step down once a replacement is found, will join the Galliford board as a non-executive director on 8 November and take the chairman's seat from former CEO David Calverley on 1 July.The 60-year-old was a director at supermarket giant Sainsbury's before taking the job at Segro - formerly Slough Estates - responsible for all property, construction environmental and related activities.Segro has already started looking for a new boss, both internally and outside the group.Coull will be a big loss to the company. Chairman Nigel Rich called him "an inspirational leader".
