(Sharecast News) - Automotive retail group Marshall Motor Holdings has appointed Richard Blumberg - currently the group finance director at outsourcer Mitie - as its new chief financial officer.Blumberger, who has held senior finance roles at Engie and Balfour Beatty, will join the company in January 2019, when current CFO Mark Raban steps down.Chief executive Daksh Gupta said: "I am delighted that Richard will be joining MMH as chief financial officer. Richard has a wealth of experience gained from senior finance roles with major UK public companies. He has a strong understanding of multi-site businesses and a track record of strategic planning, profit enhancement and extensive M&A experience. "On behalf of the board, I look forward to welcoming him to MMH and working with him during our next period of growth and development." Blumberger said: "I am incredibly excited about joining MMH during this period of its development as it continues to execute its successful strategy. MMH is a dynamic and professional company with strong business relationships and I look forward to working with the executive team and the Board to continue to deliver future growth."At 1300 BST, the shares were up 2% to 127p.
