Keller acquires Singapore foundation group

Engineer Keller has agreed to acquire Singapore-based foundation contractor Resource Holdings for £30.6m.Keller said the acquisition would help it grow its heavy foundations capability in South East Asia. It said that Resource is unlikely in the short- to medium-term to be remain at previous levels of profitability due to the impact of the global recession.'We are excited by this important acquisition, which will significantly increase the size of the Group's operations in South East Asia and add further momentum to our move into heavy foundations in these attractive growth markets,' said chief executive Justin Atkinson.
