(Sharecast News) - Retail software-as-a-service provider Itim Group announced the renewal of a five-year multi-million-pound contract with Majestic Wine on Wednesday, for its 'Unify' platform.

The AIM-traded firm said Unify supports various aspects of retail operations including EPOS, e-commerce, PIM, stock management, merchandising, supplier management, pricing and promotions, customer order management, customer management, B2B customer accounts, and website and business intelligence.

It said a key feature was its ability to provide a unified view of customer data, product information, and real-time stock levels across all sales channels.

"We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with such a prestigious retail brand," said chief executive officer Ali Athar.

"This five year renewal is an endorsement of Majestic's confidence in our Unify platform which seeks to help retailers achieve omni-channel excellence by driving sales and profitability by putting 'the customer' at the heart of Majestic's unified retail business model."

At 1159 BST, shares in Itim Group were up 8.57% at 38p.
