HSBC Infrastructure in new PFI investment

HSBC Infrastructure, the trust that invests in infrastructure projects, is to pump £2.1m in to the Helicopter Training Facility private finance initiative (PFI) project.The investment will fund a project variation involving the upgrade of a Chinook simulator for training by the Royal Netherlands Air Force, which is a user of the facility along with the Royal Air Force.The trust’s £2.1m share of the ivnestment will be in the form of loan notes yielding 12.75%.
