Galliford Try wins double school construction deal in Scotland

Galliford Try has been appointed as the preferred delivery partner by South West Scotland for the construction of two new school campuses. The deal, which is worth up to £49.7m, was awarded to the house-building and construction group's Scottish business, Morrison Construction. Morrison will build the new Greenfaulds High School in Cumbernauld in a contract potentially worth up to £26.5m, and the Clyde Valley Schools Campus in Wishaw, which represents a potential £23.2m project. Galliford Try Chief Executive Greg Fitzgerald said: "We are delighted to secure these significant projects which reflect our reputation and strong market presence within the education sector in Scotland.
