Housebuilder and contractor Galliford Try has been awarded a £54m contract called Campus 21 by West Kent College to redevelop the college's Tonbridge campus. The redevelopment will include the construction of a new performance arts building, a main reception area, a community hub and learning areas. Completion of the whole campus is expected in 2011. Students and staff will start moving into the new buildings in Spring 2010. "The award of this project underlines again our expertise and track record in the education market and we are delighted to be delivering this new project for West Kent College," said chief executive Greg Fitzgerald.
