Galliford Try nicks Development Securities' Group Finance Director

House building and construction group Galliford Try has unveiled Graham Prothero as the replacement for current Group Finance Director, Frank Nelson, who is retiring from the board at the end of September.Prothero is joining the company from Development Securities, a property developer and investor in the UK, where he has been Finance Director since November 2008. Between 2001 and 2008 he was a partner with Ernst & Young. Development Securities has yet to find a replacement for Prothero and he will remain with the company until one has been found and a smooth transition has been completed Greg Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, said Prothero has considerable financial experience in the property and housebuilding sectors.The sixty-year-old Nelson was appointed to the board of Galliford Try in 2000.
