Galliford Try has been selected as preferred bidder on a 38m pound contract for construction work on Kent County Council's Excellent Homes for All scheme.The housebuilding and construction group's Partnership business will help build 240 homes if it wins the contract.The 25-year contract, which includes the provision of seven schemes of social housing across the country, is valued more than £4m. The multi-faceted nature of this contract provides further evidence that our diverse business allows us to offer clients integrated solutions to solve their problems."Galliford Try's Facilities Management (FM) business will provide ongoing hard and soft facilities maintenance and lifecycle management services in operating the scheme accommodation. The FM contract is worth an estimated £36m, providing about £1.5m of additional index linked income per annum to the group.RD
