FTSE 250-listed housebuilding and construction group Galliford Try said it has won a 36m pound contract to refurbish the Alphabeta office building in Central London. Owners Resolution Property selected Galliford Try to complete a full refurbishment of the historic Triton Court office block on Finsbury Square, the group explained in a company statement.The project will see the transformation of 220,000 sq ft of office space for creative, media and technology occupiers with 22,000 sq ft of additional A1 retail and restaurant space on the ground and basement floors, Galliford added.Galliford Try Chief Executive Greg Fitzgerald commented: "We are delighted to have been selected by Resolution for such a prestigious scheme in Central London.""This success quickly follows our recently announced contract awards across the south east, and further cements our reputation as a contractor of choice in that commercial market."CJ
