Shares in Premier Farnell gained strongly on Friday after analysts at UBS said that an acceleration of growth at the electronic components firm should be "around the corner". "Given forward indicators (e.g. PMIs) only improved from around May, with the normal six-month lag we note company growth should start to improve from November and so are unconcerned by the lack of acceleration seen so far," the bank said.Recruitment firm Michael Page International was on the up after Goldman Sachs upped its rating on the stock from 'neutral' to 'buy'. Miners were on the decline today as risk appetite was scaled back ahead of the weekend. Hochschild, EVRAZ, Polymetal, Centamin, Petra Diamonds and Kazakhmys were among the worst performers.FTSE 250 - RisersMoneysupermarket.com Group (MONY) 148.60p +3.48%Premier Farnell (PFL) 215.30p +2.09%Fenner (FENR) 396.70p +1.48%BH Global Ltd.
