Stobart Group's fleet of distinctive green lorries will be delivering soft drinks around the UK after it won a "multi-million pound" contract with Britvic.The company's Eddie Stobart unit has agreed commercial terms for a "major" new three-year distribution deal, the largest ever awarded by Britvic in this country. It's also the first time the drinks firm has done such a large deal with a single provider.Eddie Stobart will deliver stock into Britvic's British manufacturing facilities and take customer deliveries from several Britvic distribution centres across the UK."Our multimodal logistics offering will help deliver efficiency benefits and, through our rail freight network, Stobart Group can help Britvic meet, and even exceed, its carbon reduction targets," said Stobart Group boss Andrew Tinkler.
