Director dealings: CMC Markets deputy CEO lowers stake

(Sharecast News) - CMC Markets revealed on Monday that deputy chief executive David Fineburg and his spouse Victoria had disposed of 253,857 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed trading platform operator.

Fineburg, who was appointed to the board back in 2014, sold the shares on Thursday at an average price of 390.0p each, for a total value of £990,042.

Just last week, CMC Markets reported a record first-half performance as it benefited from ongoing volatility related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the six months ended 30 September, pre-tax profit surged 369% to £141.1m, with net operating income up 126% to £230.9m.

As of 1650 GMT, CMC shares were up 4.73% at 421.0p.
