Mining group Centamin has announced Trevor Schultz is to step down as an Executive Director and will assume the role of Non-Executive Director of the firm with effect from May 1st.The company said Shultz's resignation and new role coincides with the successful completion of construction of the Stage 4 expansion at its Sukari mine and hand over to operations of the commissioning of Stage 4.Josef El-Raghy, Chairman, said: "Such a major construction project that was completed with minimal cost and time overruns is testament to his strong leadership and experience. We are delighted that Centamin and its shareholders will retain the benefit from Trevor's counsel in his new role as a non-executive director."As of 09:10 the share price had dropped by 0.5% to 51.35p.WS
