Integrated support services company Carillion has unveiled multiple contract wins in the UK, Canada and the Middle East.Its joint venture business in the United Arab Emirates, Al Futtaim Carillion, was awarded a contract worth in the region of £150m to build The Avenue Phase 2 City Walk development in Dubai.The contract includes the construction, commissioning, testing and completion of the second phase of a high-quality family entertainment and retail development of over one million square feet in the Jumeirah area of Dubai. Chief Executive Richard Howson said: "We are delighted to have been selected for this major new development in Dubai, where we continue to see more opportunities coming to market for which our capabilities and reputation for delivering to high standards of quality, safety and reliability are important to customers."Construction will commence immediately with completion due in the second quarter of 2015. Meanwhile, the company also announced that it has won support services contracts worth over £370m having been selected as the preferred bidder on projects run by Canada Natural Resources (CNR) and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), as well as winning a contract with Arqiva. Bouchier Carillion has been selected by CNR to provide integrated support services for its Horizon mine project in Alberta, including building maintenance and renovation, camp maintenance and fire water maintenance. The group was chosen by RBS to provide support services covering the operation, maintenance and repair of its 1.5m square metre estate in the UK over a five-year period. The contract for Arqiva, the communications infrastructure and media services company, involves the provision of hard and soft facilities management for its corporate estate as well as specialist maintenance works for Arqiva's network of broadcast structures and masts.
