Carillion gets Heathrow contracts

Support services firm Carillion has been awarded a 10-year framework contract to provide facilities management services at Heathrow Airport. The first two contracts awarded under the framework are for the provision of bundled service solutions for Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. At Terminal 1, the contract is worth £23m over an initial period of three years, with an option to extend this to seven years. At Terminal 3, the contract is worth £27m over an initial period of three years, with an option to extend this to 10 years. The services to be provided will comprise both hard and soft facilities management, including planned and reactive mechanical, electrical, and building fabric maintenance, together with cleaning, compliance and pest control.
