Support services company Carillion has been awarded a £123m contract to construct a new station for the City of Toronto's subway which will serve as anchor for the extension of the Spadina line, from the Downsview station to the city of Vauhgan. The design envisages a multi-modal transportation hub with on-street passenger pick-up and drop-off and connections to regional bus networks. Construction is expected to commence in the summer of 2011 and end in the autumn of 2014.At 08:30 AM shares of Carillion are falling by 0.96% to 365.2p in London trading. AB
