Carillion bags new contracts worth up to €204m

Contractor and support services specialist Carillion has won facilities management contracts from two of Britain's best known brands: the Nationwide Building Society and Virgin Media.Together, the contracts are worth up to €204m.The contract with Nationwide is for the provision of facilities management services for the society's entire property portfolio in the UK. Carillion already provides facilities management services for the Society's administration estate.The new contract starts this month and will run for three years, with an option to extend it by two years.The facilities management contract with Virgin Media renews a current agreement and extends Carillion's partnership with Virgin Media to at least mid-2013 and potentially to mid-2015.---jh
