(Sharecast News) - Investment management firm Brewin Dolphin tapped Toby Strauss to take over as chairman on Tuesday, succeeding Simon Miller following the group's next annual general meeting.
Strauss will replace Miller, who joined Brewin's board back in 2005, after the firm's AGM on 5 February 2021.

Senior independent director Ian Dewar said: "I am delighted to welcome Toby to Brewin Dolphin and look forward to working with him.

"He brings a wealth of commercial and financial services and experience, which will add to the Board's broader expertise."

Strauss' appoint was still subject to regulatory approval.

As of 0945 GMT, Brewin Dolphin shares were down 1.26% at 274.0p.
