Non-executive director David Hurst-Brown has acquired 74,445 shares in software company Anite for his ISA. This more than trebled his shareholding to 110,000 shares. He will benefit from tax free dividends in his ISA, starting with the 0.3p a share interim on 19 February. Hurst-Brown made his share purchase on the day Anite released disappointing interim figures. Despite this disappointment the share price held up well. Revenues fell from £47.4m to £35.2m in the six months to October 2009. Adjusted EBITDA slumped from £15.3m to £6.1m. Order books declined. Anite said that its core wireless software division was ending its development partnership with Agilent. Net cash is equivalent to 26p a share, compared with Hurst-Brown's buying price of 33p a share.
